電路學是電機電子相關科系的專業必修課程，是電機電子相關領域中進階課程或研究的基礎。Alexander 所著《Fundamentals of Electric Circuits》一書自第一版問世，即廣受推崇，目前已至第三版。
在本導讀版中，我以個人從大學時期修習電路學、研究所時期擔任課程助教及目前擔任教職實際教學的經驗，針對原書中較關鍵的觀念儘量輔以較淺顯易懂的中文進行介紹或摘幹。藉由這個方式與學界先進及學生分享我個人的經驗。期盼對學界先進在教學上及學生在學習上能有所助益。
