It is hard to imagine a more Orwellian presidency than George W. Bush's, according to Joseph Russomanno, who demonstrates how a form of Newspeak became thoroughly entrenched in the historical record. By having the principal actors speak for themselves, Tortured Logic provides a unique critique of the Bush administration.

作者簡介
Joseph Russomanno is an associate professor at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University. He is the author of Speaking Our Minds: Conversations with the People Behind Landmark Amendment Cases, coauthor of The Law of Journalism and Mass Communication, and editor of Defending the First: Commentary on First Amendment Issues and Cases. He lives in Chandler, Arizona.
