Mainfort (archaeology, Arkansas Archeological Survey, and anthropology, U. of Arkansas) recounts the life and work of Samuel C. Dellinger (1892-1973), who fought to retain about 8,000 prehistoric artifacts in Arkansas, rather than letting them go to museums and private collectors outside the state. The book originated in an exhibition about Dellinger's life and work curated by the author at the Old State House Museum in Little Rock. 作者簡介
Robert C, Mainfort Jr. is an archaeologist with the Arkansas Archeological Survey and professor of anthropology at the University of Arkansas. He is the author of a number of books, including Arkansas Archaeology and Ancient Earthen Enclosures of Eastern North America.
