Anna Davis is a good cop: tough and conscientious. Working the overnight shift, she spends her days… A chance encounter introduces her to a world she never knew and places her in the middle of an ancient war –between vampires and the hunters who stalk them. With the help of a few dedicated friends, she will try to survive and preserve her own humanity. Into the Night presents a society existing just below the surface, the thin veneer of official stories. With vivid characters, action and humor it explores a hidden, nighttime world where one society, ancient, forbidding, rigid and amoral, struggles against a loose collection of morally-compromised but righteous adversaries dedicated to its destruction. All of this swirls around Anna Davis, every-woman, good cop, as she tries to negotiate her way through a world she can’t understand and avoid the catastrophe towards which the two sides of a brutal conflict are hurtling.
