作者簡介
Liu Hsieh (465–522) was a Buddhist monk in the Ting-lin Monastery, who oversaw the editing of sutras under the commission of Emperor Wu of the Liang dynasty. He wrote The Literary Mind and the Carving of Dragons late in his life.
Vincent Yu-chung Shih (1902–2001) received a doctoral degree in philosophy from the University of South California in 1939 and taught at the University of Washington. He was the author of The Taiping Ideology: Its Sources, Interpretations and Influences and many Chinese-language books.
