As for the compilation of this book, the traditional practice-test model is abandoned while the contents of the test and the universally-used key language points of Chinese are merged together in correspondence with the requirements and objectives of the Writing and Speaking Test (Intermediate Level) of the new HSK test. Therefore, this book serves not only as the self-study materials for the candidates preparing for the new HSK Level IV, but also as the ordinary Chinese-learning textbooks for the use of the teachers and learners. New HSK Learning Course (Writing and Speaking Level IV) has the following features in aspect of compilation: 一、本教程首次將“書寫表達”和“口語表達”融合為一,結構編排以“詞—語—句—篇章與對話—結構—類比訓練”為順序。《新HSK漢語學習與考試教程 書寫與口語(四級)》共分10課,每課以話題為中心,由詞語銀行、詞語訓練、語句訓練、表達與交際、結構與形式、動手寫和開口說等七個板塊組成。其中“詞語銀行”相當於以往教材的生詞表;“表達與交際”是該課的主課文(短文形式)和作為補充材料的小對話,以及語段表達知識,語段表達知識兼顧話題功能和篇章結構;“結構與形式”相當於以往教材的語言點,側重語法知識。“動手寫”和“開口說”是針對新HSK4級的書寫和口語考試的模擬題。
I. This textbook is the first book of this kind to integrate “written expression” with “oral expression”, and its structure is arranged in order of “word—language—sentence—chapter and dialogue—structure—simulation training”. New HSK Learning Course (Writing and Speaking Level IV) is divided into 10 lessons with each lesson is topic-focused and composed of 7 panels, that is the word bank, word drilling, statement drilling, expression and communication, structure and form, using your hands to write as well as opening your mouth to speak, etc. And among them, “word bank” is the equivalent of the word list in the past textbooks; “expression and communication” contains the main text of the lesson (in the form of short passage), the mini-dialogues used as the supplementary materials and the discourse expression knowledge which takes account of both topic function and chapter structure; “structure and form” equals the language points in the traditional textbooks with its focus on grammar knowledge. Using your hands to write as well as opening your mouth to speak are the practice-test exercises targeted at the writing and speaking test of the new HSK Level IV.
二、由於本教程是專門針對準備新HSK考試的學習者,因此編寫注意寓教於練,注重訓練的層次性、多樣性和針對性。例如,“詞語銀行”在本教程中是根據詞語的含義、性質或圍繞的主題,分類排列,以圖培養學生的詞語聯想能力。緊跟其後的“詞語訓練”是以看圖聯想詞語的形式出現,目的是讓學習者對詞語銀行中的生詞進行第一次複習。再後的“語句訓練”是重點生詞的詞語搭配或常見語塊,以及該課重要句子的提示,同時再配合“詞語訓練”中出現的圖片,進行看圖聯繫句子的訓練,目的之一是使學習者進一步加深對該課重點生詞的含義和用法的記憶,之二是起到一種預習作用,學習者進行完“語句訓練”的內容,能更容易地學習該課的主課文和小對話。“結構與形式”在每一個講解的結構形式後都針對性地設計了練習,練習以新HSK(4級)的書寫部分題型為主,輔以其他類型的練習,不僅起到了操練語言形式和複習生詞的作用,也使學習者更快更多地熟悉新HSK(4級)書寫部分的考試。另外,“表達與交際”中也出現了一些口語或書面語表達方面的訓練,如根據短文回答問題、根據提示詞語複述課文和模仿交流等,目的為新HSK(4級)口語部分考試打基礎。
II. Because this textbook is specifically for the learners in preparation of the new HSK test, its compilation pays attention to the combination of teaching in drilling and puts emphasis on the hierarchy, variety and pertinence of the drilling. For example, in the “word bank” part, the words are categorized and arranged according to their meanings, properties or subjects they center on to foster the word association ability of the students. The “word drilling“following closely is presented in the form of word to picture association aiming to enable the learners to conduct first-time revision of the new words in the “word bank”. The “statement drilling” coming next mainly contains the lexical allocation of the crucial new words or the hints about the commonly-seen language chunks or the important sentences appearing in this lesson and the training of associating the sentences to the pictures in sight in combination with the pictures presented in the“ word drilling”, which on one hand, aim to deepen the learners' memory of the meanings and usages of the crucial new words in this lesson and on the other hand, aim to play a role of pre-reading in that it will be easier for the learners to study the main text and mini-dialogues in this lesson after they finish the contents in the “statement drilling”. In the “structure and form” part, targeted exercises are designed after every explained structural form and the exercises mainly consist of types of questions of the writing part of the new HSK (Level IV) test with supplement of the other types of exercises which not only play the role of drilling language patterns and going over the new words, but also make the learners familiar with the writing part of the new HSK (Level IV) test. In addition, there are written and oral expression training in the “expression and communication”, such as answering questions according to the passages, retelling the text according to the clue words and imitation exchanges, etc., which aim to lay a basis for the speaking part of the new HSK (Level IV) test.
三、教程的編排也考慮到教學的可操作性。每個板塊形成了環環相扣的有序的教學步驟,便於教師教學操作。而且,每個板塊也設計了作用不一的教學任務,同時還兼有師生、生生間的互動活動,方便教師組織課堂教學。
III. As for the compilation of this textbook, the teaching operability is also taken into consideration. Interlocking and orderly teaching procedures are formed in every panel to facilitate the teaching operation of the teachers. Besides, teaching tasks with different functions as well as the student-student and student-teacher interactive activities are also designed in every panel to make it convenient for the teachers to organize teaching in class. 四、本教程語言以新HSK3級、4級詞為基礎,生詞以4級詞為主,外加極少的5級詞和超綱詞。主課文的體裁為記敘文和說明文,個別課文也有議論文的特點,整體語體風格是偏口語化的書面語體或較正式的口語語體。
IV. The language of this textbook is based on the words of the new HSK Level III and Level IV while its new words mainly consist of and almost cover all the Level- IV words in addition to a few words of Level V and a few words beyond the syllabus. Most of the main texts are in narrative and expository genres with a few of them characterized by argumentative writing. The overall language style is partially colloquial-oriented written language and partially rather formal colloquialism. 本教程若用於教學,建議一課的教學時間為4課時左右。建議用於短期HSK強化教學,教學時長為10周左右。
Supposing this textbook is used in teaching, it is recommended that a lesson should be completed within about 4 periods. It is suggested that this book be used for the short-term HSK enhancement teaching lasting for more or less 10 weeks.
