Additive Manufacturing and Optimization ― Fundamentals and Applications

Leading authorities have declared Additive Manufacturing (AM), aka 3D printing, the first manufacturing “revolution” of the 21st century. Due to this, there is a need for AM books that cover the different aspects of the process. This book introduces basic principles and fundamental techniques. It takes you through the steps of creating a 3D model and discusses the materials used, as well as the influencing parameters which affects the dimensional accuracy and productivity of the manufacturing process.
