Older Americans still report going to church regularly, but the gap in attendance between them and the younger Americans is wide-and growing.But here is the thing: Half of Millennials and Gen Z still believe in God with absolute certainty. Only 23 percent say religion is not important in their lives. Most still pray, and two thirds consider heaven to be a reality.
