Willow's Warrior and The Disturbers

Willow's Warriors and the DIsturbers is a book that closely mirrors contemporary events in the ongoing struggle for the survival of the planet. From the fires in the Amazon Rainforest to the oil fields of Afghanistan and the Permafrost melt in the Arctic, it tells the story of a planet that is in an existential crisis.
Willow and the Warriors dedicate themselves, through their presence and commitment to the cause, to take direct action always in the spirit of non-violence. The characters come from diverse backgrounds, each with a similar story that ties them together in a common cause. There is the element of fantasy represented by Mother Earth, The Oracle and the teenage mermaid Oceana, adding spice and the unusual to their collective adventures as well.
The Disturbers, as antagonists, serve as a means to thwart the efforts of The Warriors and also shine a light on the insatiable greed that exists in the exploitation of the Earth's natural resources in these modern times. The characters were drawn from examples of actual individuals who hold positions of power and are given a sarcastic seriousness to their evil-doing activities.
