English summary: On the occasion of the 1700th anniversary of the oldest Christian profession of faith, the Altenberg Ecumenical Discussion Group is publishing theological contributions on the three articles of faith. For the 1st article, Rainer Stuhlmann deals with the threefold confession of the one God in the Old and New Testaments. The Bochum systematist Christian Link elucidates God as Father, the Almighty and Creator. In the 2nd article, the meaning and significance of the Homousios have top priority. This is followed by contributions on the incarnation, crucifixion and resurrection of Christ, and on eschatology. For the 3rd article of 381, Hans-Georg Link elucidates the seven provisions on the spirit. The main accent is on the four hallmarks of the church: unity, holiness, catholicity and apostolicity. Printed in the appendix is the Altenberger Pladoyer zu Pfingsten 2023, which recommends 2025 as an ecumenical Year with Confession, advocates a liturgical home for the original confession text in communion services of all churches, and proposes a synodal Feast with Confession after 1700 years on the appointed date of June 19, 2025.
